The mission of the PNA of Ulster County is “for the advancement of nursing education, for the advocacy of high standards of nursing care in the health environment, and for the creation of a forum for the mentoring of ALL nurses and nursing students in the community.”
To this end, we initiate and conduct legislative activities that will ensure and protect the public’s health, and advocate for effective systems of nursing care delivery. We seek to provide our membership and the public with information on current health and safety trends, legislative activities related to nursing and health care issues, and to the promotion of nursing education.
